My website is done!

Welcome to my site. I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to visit.

The Iron Man motto is “anything is possible”. I knew that was true for swimming, cycling, and running. When I thought about building a website for our trek, I said, “that’s decidedly not possible”. I guess I proved myself wrong.

I’ve had so many people ask why I’m doing this, how I’m doing this, and how they can track my progress. I thought this was the best way to answer those questions and also provided a place for me share my thoughts as I pedal across the country. You’ll also see we’re fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)—a cause that’s very important to our family. A website seemed like the best way to advance this very important cause as well.

Truth be told, I do find it a little uncomfortable (can you say “narcissitic”?) building an entire site around me, but hey, how often do you get on your bike and pedal 3,400 miles across the country?

I hope you find the site interesting and visit often once our journey gets going on April 22.

Enjoy the ride…
